Error: The Heatplate does not heat up
Unplug the press from mains
Unscrew the protection case of the press at the 2x screws on each side
Open the protection case and secure it to prevent the case from falling down. Additionally, you can disconnect the fan.
Unscrew the cable attached to connection 1 and connect both, cable 1+ 2 to connector 2
Close the baffle and plug in the mains cable
Switch “ON” the press
WARNING: The Heatplate will immediately heat up if functioning. Please make sure to stop the test as soon as the Heatplate gets noticeably warm. As soon as the Heatplate warms up, switch “OFF” the press to prevent it from overheating.
The test helps us to find out which parts are defective. There are two possible outcomes::
1. the plate heats up --> the Solid State Relay is defective
2. the plate does not heat up --> the Heatplate is defective
